NeighborScapes was founded in 2008 around a belief that strong neighborhoods require more than physical investment.
They require quality housing. Opportunities to serve and lead. Strong relationships. Spaces for community expression. Pathways toward stability and ownership. And residents who have the resources to shape the future of their communities.
Today, NeighborScapes brings those ideas together through programs focused on housing and leadership, national service and workforce development, and environmental stewardship.

About Us
Our mission
NeighborScapes is a non-profit organization with a mission to strengthen the physical and social fabric of neighborhoods, including through the provision and management of safe, decent and affordable housing for persons of low- and moderate-income making less than 80% of area median income; and to create a covenant of care, enrichment and development for young people.
Our main programs in 2026 are the Innovation House and Harvey Conservation Corps Programs.
