How do you become a Community Building Fellow

Thank you for your interest in being a Community Building Fellow (CBF). Before you can officially be a CBF, there are a few steps that we ask you to take prior to moving forward.

If you are interested in living in the Innovation House, please contact Brian Geiger, the Program Coordinator at bgeiger@neighborscapes.org call him at (773) 991-0301 

Innovation House Application

Fill out the application. You can access the application on our website under the Innovation House 

Credit Karma

Each Applicant needs to set up a free Credit Karma account. The purpose for this is to check your credit status. 

Two Step Process for Credit Karma

After completing the Credit Karma setup, we need view your credit score. This can be done in 2 ways:  


· You can submit your login credentials to our board member Damon Perry, who serves as leasing agent, at damondperry@gmail.com and change the password after he looks at your credit. Damon Perry is the landlord and rental manager for the Innovation Houses.


 OR


· You can come make an appointment to come into Damon Perry’s office and login to show your Credit Karma account in person without giving him the password.

Meeting Other Community Building Fellows

Lastly, we asked that you meet with other Community Building Fellows (CBFs) prior to moving into the Innovation House.
